Replica of a Blunderbuss pistol from the 18th century, also known as an Espingole or Tromblon pistol. Characteristic of this special flintlock pistol (also known in English as a dragon) was the short, wide and funnel-shaped barrel. In the age of sailing ships, this firearm was very popular with the cavalry, the naval forces and pirates due to its handiness.
The beautiful stock of this muzzle-loading replica is made of synthetic resin with a wood look and decorated with a dragon motif worked in relief. The lock, the barrel, the trigger guard and the decorative plate on the opposite side of the lock are artfully decorated with elaborate details and depictions.
